Description
This is an EXCELLENT condition, ORIGINAL 16mm color sound movie print of the entertaining 1967 British adventure feature motion picture classic titled... "THE FICTION MAKERS" Director: Roy Ward Baker The Saint was a long-running (1963-1969) UK TV series based on characters created by Leslie Charteris. Roger Moore stars as Simon Templar, a handsome soldier-of-fortune of dubious principles and morals, but a handy man to have around whenever someone truly deserving is in distress. The Fiction Makers originated as a two-part Saint adventure, first telecast as 2 episodes in 1968 then released theatrically as a feature film. This time, Templar is assigned to protect famed novelist Amos Klein from vengeful gangsters. The assignment turns out to be a pleasurable one when "Amos Klein" is revealed to be a gorgeous woman (Sylvia Syms). The Fiction Makers was written by John Kruse and Harry W. Junkin. It's a great James Bond 007-like spoof, a wonderful heist movie, and a lot of fun! Simon Templar (Roger Moore) has to face sinister Warlock (Kenneth J. Warren) , whose crimes are based on ideas taken from the books of a well known writer - Amos Klein (Sylvia Syms). Well, it's a typical Saint adventure which includes: grotesque villain, beautiful women, the chase, the fight and of course the one and only Roger Moore (the last real gent) , who proves that he's the best Simon Templar ever. CAST: Roger Moore ... Simon Templar Sylvia Syms ... Amos Klein Justine Lord ... Galaxy Rose Kenneth J. Warren ... Warlock Philip Locke ... Frug Tom Clegg ... Monk Nicholas Smith ...
