"THE FRANK SINATRA SHOW" 10-18-57 This is a excellent condition Original Network 16mm black and white kinescope print of the first Frank Sinatra TV show ever broadcast on ABC. Because this was Frank's PILOT SHOW, he had some very special guests. First we have the undisputed King of Comedy and American Icon BOB HOPE. Next we have one of the greatest Jazz and Popular singers of all time PEGGY LEE. Finally we have one of the most beautiful and talented actresses of all time KIM NOVAK! What a incredible show and what a incredible line up! Frank sings all his biggest hits, like "Lady is a Tramp" and "All the Way" among many others. Peggy Lee performs 2 songs. Bob Hope does several comedy skits with Frank, included a classic one with Kim Novak called "The Pride and the Passport" that includes a cameo by famous actor JEFF CHANDLER! Furthermore the show was sponsored by Chesterfield cigarettes, so we have Frank doing live on air Cigarette commericals! Priceless! One of the Chesterfield ads even has legendary comedian JERRY COLONNA doing a singing cigarette ad with a baby faced and unknown singer named ANDY WILLIAMS! This is without a doubt the rarest film you will ever find on ebay, except for maybe the equally rare 1958 Dean Martin Pilot show I have listed as well! These 2 films are with out a doubt the two greatest TV pilots ever made and you are looking at probably the only original prints still in existence. Hopefully some serious Rat Pack collector will want them both, because they are literally like twin brothers. The 16mm film itself is a excellent condition ORIGINAL NETWORK KINESCOPE and not a dupe or a reversal. There are no black lines, sprocket damage and less then a handful of minor splices (none during any of the musical performaces). The film projects perfectly and comes on the original 2300 foot metal reel. It even includes all the original credits and lab leaders with original airdates! The cherry on the top is the original network film case, which I have included a picture of. The print runs a full 60 minutes and even includes all the original commercials. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY!
