35MM FILM CHRONICLES OF AMERICA 2 ROLLS OF SILENT 1920's 35MM FILMS Jamestown REELS 1 & 2 FILM TITLE: .CHRONICLES OF AMERICA SIZE : EACH IS 10 INCHES CONDITION : Used in good shape, no smells or vinegar, probally need to be cleaned by a professional I have no means to project these, all observations are done by sight WHAT RESEARCH UNCOVERED : Chronicles of America Chronicles of America is the title of a fifty volume series on American history. Originally printed in 1921, the volumes were written by historians of the time about various aspects of American History. The series was edited by Allen Johnson. Since the copyright has expired, some of the written volumes are freely available in electronic form. In 1923, Yale decided to create a series of films based on the books. Fifteen films were ultimately produced. A member of the Kean family of politicians, his great-grandfather, John Kean, had been a delegate to the Continental Congress for South Carolina, his brother was US Senator Hamilton Fish Kean, his nephew was US Representative Robert Winthrop Kean and his grand-nephew was Governor Thomas Kean.
