PRICE DROP!ANGEL HUNTER (1992) - Directed by Sun Chung -   Action Director - Corey Yuen   Cast - Anthony Wong || Lau Ching Wan  || Vivian Chow  || Carrie Ng  || Ng Man Tat    Hong Kong filmmaker Sun Chung's tale of cult brainwashing and human sacrifice died at the box office (and indeed had been on the shelf for a year before its unsuccessful release) but found new life on videotape.   Popular actress Vivian Chow stars as May, a schoolgirl whose best friend commits suicide under mysterious circumstances. Before too long, the dejected May finds herself an easy target for brainwashing by a cult led by a sinister but charismatic figure known as The Bishop (Anthony Wong). May's guidance counselor, Jack Chow (Lau Ching-wan), is in love with her and teams up with a slightly dotty professor named Cheung (Ng Man-tat) to rescue her from the cult's clutches. They plan to acquire a tape depicting the cult staging a Satanic sacrifice (actually it's a Pagan rite in Great Britain swiped from the 1973 cult classic The Wicker Man) but Jack is drugged and falls asleep with May, only to awaken to blackmail threats from his boss, who just won an important election with The Bishop's money. Carrie Ng scores points as The Bishop's sidekick, Sister Man Ying, and the cast also includes Wong Kam-kong. This is the original very rare Hong Kong Golden Cinema City Laserdisc.
