These are from my collection of approximately 1200 tapes, containing between 4-8 hours of viewing on most with 2-3 movies, or any number of documentaries or TV series and ability to re-record a minimum of 6-8 hours of new material as you choose. The lots consists of movies (various Wars from Revolutionary, Civil, WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, and others; Westerns of a myriad of good guys/bad guys, Indian conflicts, etc., sporting events mostly 1980's era for games and many historical documentaries for most sports, etc.), all types of Horror/Science Fiction movies and documentaries, including many that are considered CULT and many that were probably never available through the major chain video store (Independents) and that would probably cost a pretty penny if you can even find them today in any format; Dramas; Action; Adventure; Fantasy; Animation; Disney type; etc., plus a large selection of TV series & Mini-Series from regular TV in the 1980’s to Cable today. Originals, the remakes, various sequels, etc. Also there are probably 300 or more tapes devoted to various documentaries on most any subject you can imagine, from Crime; Nature; Dinosaurs; Sharks; Comedy Specials; Civil War; Westerns; WWI; WWII; Viet Nam; some Christmas; Hollywood & TV Reunions & Histories; Rock & Roll movies, documentaries/specials, JFK stuff, just about anything and everything in this massive collection being transferred to DVD, whew! All are being offered as blank VHS tapes as all can be recorded over at your discretion, to record what you like, in whatever format you choose (most are 6 hours capable, with some up to 8 hours). None can be guaranteed due to their age (though some were just done within the last year), but due to the quality that might be available from the various VCR’s (doubt any two VCR’s were ever made the same), they were recorded on over the years. Some play great, others will need some tracking done, so I will INCLUDE two more tapes FREE so the total will be TWELVE (12) tapes shipped. All have labels on the tape and box to identify what was recorded on them, which could be removed or another label put over it and all have plastic or cardboard jackets. The picture is a generic photo and you will receive similar tapes. Since I am only offering these in lots of 10 (+2), you can choose the subject(s) you might want to view before erasing and re-recording or the maker of the tapes, so email me with any questions prior to bidding and I will try to pull a couple of the 12, otherwise I will pull a random lot of 12 tapes. Think of this offering as walking into a very very large VIDEO STORE with rows and rows of lined shelves of VHS tapes on almost every subject, then think of those containing 2-3 movies on each or 6-8 hours of TV shows, documentaries, etc. and you’re get the idea. Not too much that I didn’t collect. CRAZY, probably, according to my wife, kids and now grandchildren. Not enough hours of life left to watch them all. Some tapes have movies rated G, PG & R together, so if you don’t want something I think might be an R rating (usually a Horror Movie for sure), let me know and I’ll try to look out for them, otherwise, view them before you let someone not old enough to watch or whom might be offended, or just don’t bother and record over them). All tapes you receive are considered blank and, even though something is recorded on them, can be easily recorded over, even if the recording tab has been removed by placing a piece of tape over the opening.
